When you sign your dog up to any of dog walking sessions, you are guaranteeing them a fantastic time. They will be able to explore their local hangout with their amazing nose, perhaps enjoy some community parkour and exercise their body and mind.
At Nosey Barker, we know doing the same thing every day for your dog is boring, which is why our dog walking service is all about adventure. We have licenses to visit some fantastic local parks and trusts. Your canine pal will come along and join in the fun at places such as Pishiobury Park in East Hertfordshire, Harlow Town Park or Hatfield Forest in Takeley, Bishops Stortford.
There are many benefits to having your dog walked by a qualified trainer. Our trainers are experienced in reading canine body language, qualified in appropriate play, dog-dog interactions and dog-people interactions.
You can be assured that when you put your trust in the Nosey team, your canine pal will get the best care possible and enjoy themselves to the full. You will be able to see photos on our facebook page and feel part of our community.
We offer three different dog walking services:
Dog Walking Adventures
At Nosey Barker we started our dog walking adventures because we noticed that many of the puppies training with us who were progressing brilliantly started to lose focus once they started visiting doggy daycare centres or walking with a large group of dogs.
All that training and hard work on recall, walking nicely on lead, appropriate greeting was lost, and these puppies who were developing into fantastic canine citizens were becoming unruly, jumping up, running off to greet other dogs, people and not listening to their owners!
Dogs are social animals and like to interact with other dogs and people, but just like us humans, we have to learn what is appropriate and what is not.
Training walks are perfect for busy people that want a well-behaved pal but just aren’t able to give the time and consistency required. We understand how difficult training a dog can be, which is why we want to help you. Training walks are on a one-to-one basis with your dog and one of our qualified trainers. Your trainer will follow a plan specifically written for your dog, incorporating your goals with each session being 1 hour long.
Would your dog prefer to be walked alone? Maybe they are worried by other dogs, people, certain places, the sound of traffic, travelling in a car etc. Some dogs just prefer someone to one time, and we are very happy to offer our solo walks to support you and your dog.
